Every single one of Michel Voight party pursed their lips as they contemplated Nathan's words. Once again, they finally used their brains to think.
"He is right if you think about it… there is no reason for the academy to actively do such a thing. I mean, every single Guardian is treated accordingly, based on performance. Talent would be a plus."
"But that doesn't mean they don't show favoritism to those that are ranked higher in the entrance exams."
It was a back and forth as they discussed amongst themselves. Of course, Michel Voight felt the need to stop them from discussing any further but Nathan was one step ahead.
"I said be quiet!... You have spoken for too long, poisoning the minds of your fellow cadets, for what?... You better stay shut."
Each word was like a knife that cut apart Michel's dignity, reducing him from a charismatic leader to just another cadet.
