Nathan sighed with a calm expression as he reached out and grabbed her hands that had at some point come together. Placing his palm over hers in a caring manner, he flashed a smile to calm her nerves. "Trust me on this and we would be able to get through this, I promise."
Seeing the confident look in Nathan's eyes as he spoke with a passion that almost made her heart skip a bit, Leah took yet another step back to distance herself from the individual that somehow caused her brain to go blank whenever he showed some form of attention.
