Jacob pursued Indra, Tanya, King, and Victor down the tunnel with his subordinates, his hubris reaching its peak as he watched the so-called geniuses of Guardian Academy running away from the might of his alliance.
He had never expected that it would have such an impact. When he was approached by that person not to be conquered but for an alliance, he had thought it a joke but after he displayed intelligence and cunning, Jacob had no choice but to accept that the one before him was indeed a formidable individual.
He was not exactly known thus he took him as a low-key individual that depended on his cunning to make strides and that was most likely the reason his Squadron was able to survive for as long as they did.
He was intrigued by his capabilities and thus decided to join their alliance on equal terms…or at least that's what he continually told himself as he moved further down the tunnel accompanied by thirty cadets.
