Nathan stayed his hand as he heard her voice. He dropped his gun with a complicated look on his face. "Elena?" Elena stood at the other end of the door with some sort of black liquid sliding down her armor as well as her blade.
"So it was you. I was worried that it was another one." Elena sighed as she walked toward Nathan. "What happened?" He asked, referring to the black liquid that stained her.
"Oh, this… I woke up there and the next moment, I was attacked by a Man-eater. It came out of nowhere and if not for my suit, I would have lost an arm."
She casually explained while swinging her sword, getting rid of the black liquid that was on it. "I'm guessing it's dead?" "Mn, but I'm worried that there could be more lurking around so be careful."
He silently nodded while glancing at the other side behind the door, it was dark in there but he could just barely make out the shape of something humanoid.
