It was like a tide of darkness approaching from the distance. The darkness was deep and so large that it could almost bloat out the entire sky.
As she saw this, her heart skipped a beat. Her muscles tensed and her palms got sweaty. Her knees went weak and her mouth turned dry.
A part of her wanted to run, it wanted her to drop the Saucer and flee but she remained in position.
Her courage wavered but she stood strong. She would see this to the end and there was nothing that could stop her. Thus, she closed her eyes once again.
Since my sight causes my faith to shake, then I shall close them and see nothing but darkness… She thought as she waited for what was to come.
The Screechers let out ear-piercing screams as they charged towards the source of the sound. They had just about had it with listening to the frequency. Their only thought was to destroy it once and for all.
