Somehow, he managed to understand how Michel Voight was able to be so manipulative.
His arguments were so sensible, it was hard to fault him for thinking that way.
All he had to do was make them see things from his point of view while subconsciously convincing them to remain in that path.
So even if he was called out, it could always be seen as a misunderstanding.
