After exchanging looks with Nathan for what seemed like an eternity but was actually a few seconds, Leah slowly nodded in understanding. "I understand."
Taking a step back to come into full view of everyone present, she followed up. "I haven't spoke with him directly but my aunt Helen told me about him once. He said that if it weren't for your presence, Nathan, that she would have loved to take him in as a disciple."
"Why would she say something like that?" Nathan asked with a curious gaze.
With her words concerning the opponent they were about to face, Michel Voight, Leah had managed to enthrall everyone as they listened for an explanation for her words that most likely held a deeper meaning.
Currently, the enemy they were about to face was a blank.. an unknown that couldn't be measured and nothing was worse than going up against an unknown, what's worse, without knowing their final objective for attacking.
