Chapter 26 - A Demon Hero?

~ Syphiruz Main Hideout ~

A man in his black suit with a golden mask covering the upper part of his face was leisurely sitting on his chair while smoking his cigarette. There were two men standing on guard on both sides. One is tall and bulky while the other one has a medium body size and height.

Their eyes were focused on the large flat-screen television in front of them. It was the live broadcast covering the hijacked situation of a train bullet.

It was mentioned in the news that the train bullet along with the 300 plus passengers and personnel was now safe from the threat of the Syphiruz.

The bullet train had already arrived at its destination. The train station was now crowded with reporters and police officers. The passengers were rescued. No one was harmed during the incident.

One government representative and the Head Negotiator also arrived at the station to check the status and conditions of the victims. They also needed to get their testimony, especially for those who encountered the members of the Syphiruz in the bullet train.

It was also said in the news that the two members of the Syphiruz who hijacked the train were apprehended except for one who got away.

The task force and the police were still chasing after those Syphiruz members. Their two cars were spotted near the railway just before the long Kawasan Tunnel.

According to the report, the Syphiruz planted five bombs and it was being shown on television right now.

The man in a black suit with sharp emerald eyes laughed dryly upon seeing the bombs. The cut wires were visible on the screen.

"Someone was able to diffuse the bombs easily," a deep cold voice was heard inside the office.

The two men standing beside the masked man just remained silent. They could tell that their Big Boss was furious and unhappy right now because of the failure of their comrades.

They failed their mission of blowing up the bullet train. He wondered who intervened, ruining their plan.

Then suddenly, the footage shifted into another view wherein several reporters tried to interview a beautiful woman wearing the train attendant's uniform.

The cameras were now focused on Zach who was still in his woman body form. He was being escorted by the police, trying to protect him from the swarming reporters.

"This female attendant was the hero. She was the one who saved the lives of the 300 plus civilians inside the train. It was said that she was able to defeat those terrorists using her charm. She also managed to defuse the bomb on her own," the news anchor reported.

They wanted to interview Zach but he refused to do it. He was not used to talking in front of the crowd while cameras were everywhere. He couldn't wait to transform back into his demon form since he was annoyed by these humans who were trying to get his statement.

The emerald eyes of the masked man lit up when he saw Zach on the television. His lips curled up into an amused smile. He couldn't believe that someone like Zach would ruin his plan.

Now everyone was praising and claiming Zach as the hero.

Another laughter echoed inside the room. The two men just watched their Big Boss in puzzlement. This time, there was a hint of humor in his laughter.

They wondered what was funny. Was their Boss laughing for real because a woman ruined their operation? Or he was smitten by the beautiful woman on the television.

They were curious but they didn't dare to ask him. One mistake and they could lose their tongue so it was best for them to stay silent.

It did not take long when he stopped laughing and a cold glint flashed through his eyes as he continued observing Zach on the TV screen.

"A hero?! What a ridiculous joke was this? Why did a demon stop the explosions if she could benefit from it? Is he trying to be a Demon Hero? Tsk Tsk," The masked man murmured to himself as he rubbed his chin.

He could see the dark aura surrounding Zach's body. The masked man could tell that the beautiful woman on the TV was not an ordinary human but a demon.

They were still watching the news when the man noticed the dark shadows that entered his office. He arched his eyebrows upon seeing his unexpected visitors.

He glanced at the two men who were silently standing beside him. They couldn't see the newcomers. The masked man was the only one who knew that they had company inside the room.

"Both of you, get out of my room now! I want to be alone!" The cold authoritative voice of a man was heard once again.

The two men exchanged meaningful glances before they nodded their heads. Without wasting any more time, they left the room, feeling relieved.

They were scared that their Big Boss would take out his anger on them so they wished to leave the room. Fortunately, their Big Boss ordered them to leave him alone.

When his two men were gone, the masked man spoke to his unexpected visitors who came from Hell, the land of Asura.

"Why are you here? To whom do I owe this visit?"

The two creatures with horns on their forehead paid respect to the masked man by bowing their heads and kneeling in front of him.

One of the creatures with an ox head had spoken, "The Portal was opened today so we were able to come down here in the human world. Our Lord, we have something important to report to you, that's why we came here to see you."

"Go on. What is it? Tell me."

The other creature also spoke up to continue.

"The Demon King Position had been vacated. We think… It's now the right time to go back to Asura Land."

"Lord Lazarus… please come back! And be our Demon King!"
