Hans knew that Shiro and Lisa had gone towards the shrine, but he didn't reveal it to the residents. Since the soul mark on Lisa was still not detectable, he knew that they were still in some other space.
If the residents search that area now, they would find nothing. It would all be for naught. Hence, he asked them to search here and there, not specifying any place and actually forbidding them from going to the other side of the island.
During the two days Shiro and Lisa vanished, the residents were working day and night in order to look for clues to where Shiro and Lisa had gone to.
Every half an hour, Hans would call one of them to inform him of their progress.
