One of the two men, who just entered the hut, held Shiro's legs while the other held his upper body, lifting him entirely and then slowly moving him inside a bag.
This meant that the residents weren't part of this, or were not knowing about this, after all, if they did, then there was no need to take him while covering him with a sac.
Regardless, it was quite uncomfortable for Shiro, but he had to pretend to be paralyzed for a few more minutes.
Apparently, he also behaved as if he was sleeping - which explains why his eyes were closed.
The men carried him all the way to a hut, that was on the other side of the island. There were a few large storehouses with tons of goods present, but they didn't head that way.
Rather, they went to a relatively smaller hut, where the stench of blood was pretty strong.
