The old man seemed furious for some reason. His eyebrows remained scrunched as he continued drinking the jug of ale.
As for Shiro, he was both confused and surprised by the mission that popped up.
'This old man's disciple?', Shiro asked himself.
'Who is he? Why should I become his disciple?'
"That, grandpa… I'm sorry for lying to you…", Shiro apologized to the old man.
"Who is your grandpa!?", the man raised his voice.
The old man looked at Shiro with suspicious eyes.
He didn't believe that Shiro was actually sorry for what he had done.
However, after carefully observing Shiro, the old man's scrunched eyebrows eased.
"Grandpa, are you not angry anymore?", Shiro asked.
"Hmm…", the old man hummed a response.
"I have… Something to ask you, Grandpa…" Shiro said slowly.
He wasn't sure if this was the right time to ask, after all, the old man seemed grumpy. Nevertheless, he tried.
