I heard someone entering my room and I sat straight in my bed, watching Lauren holding a tray of food in her hands as she switched on the light. I hadn't realized how long I was asleep but almost all day went by.
"You didn't eat ever since you got back home." She smiled and placed the tray in front of me. She must have felt I was in pain.
"Yeah, I was just not hungry." I lied and looked away, mentally telling my stomach to not growl right now.
"Did something happen between you and Tucker?" she swept my hair behind my ear and demanded to look in my eyes.
"There is nothing left to happen, he is so in love with Dina." I croaked, feeling tuckered out out inside.
"That's why I want you to change it." All of a sudden, her voice was filled with ebullience.
"What?" I inquired, watching her face with my mouth hung open.
