Avana would not leave no matter how he had threatened her. He closed his eyes more, hoping not to see her because it could worsen the situation.
He tried to bury himself in his thoughts, not wanting his beast to sense her. Then, he found himself floating to neverland, swimming in his memories.
Then, he stumbled on one he did not remember seeing or probably forgotten and buried in the deepest recesses of his mind.
He suddenly remembered all the nights that his parents had started fighting. They were a happy family before. Well, at least he believed they were. Until, one day, his father came home, shouting.
"Father," Young Adam called to his father, but he ignored him as he continued on his path.
