Chapter 84 - LXXXIV

Adam thought about what Avana had told her. She was right. He had to share what he knew, even if it meant revealing some of his secrets to her. That was the only way they could start trusting each other.

"Should we sit down for a few seconds?" He offered, still trying to think of where he should start with his revelation.

When she followed him on a big rock and sat down just a meter away, he knew he had to start from the beginning. He did not have to tell her the complete story but just the relevant ones.

"I used to be a human, an ordinary kid." He spoke gently, ensuring she understood and there would be no miscommunication. "A young prince, son of the King of Kings. But still human."

He hardly recollected his young life, but the few images of him still lingered. Mostly the times he was with his mother. He did remember getting hurt, having a wound that would heal for weeks. But not anymore.
