He turned his head when he heard noises coming from the grounds. He did not have to look at what was going on to know that his men were working hard to be better. But he still needed them to be invincible.

They could be the best and most skilled warriors as their roars echoed in the air, but they were still mortal like the human they had always been. They could die with the usual means of killing a man.

"General Saxon, have you heard from Ambrosia?" The King asked his most trusted head of his army. He needed to know the progress of her spell. She had herself cooped up in the dungeons, working her ass off recreating the sorcery he gave her from the piece of shredded paper. It was not much, but if she was as good as she claimed to be, she might be able to do it.
