Amid endless darkness, a boy holding a corpse in his arms was scrambling forward. His eyes were covered in blood, yet they reflected an emotionless utterance.
'It isn't the first time I lost someone dear to me.'
The boy spoke in a toneless voice.
It was Ary.
His attire was ripped off and his body was battered with blood all around him, yet his expression didn't reveal his pain.
"Marinette…"
Ary solemnly called out as he tightened his grip, gently mumbling,
"...you two were truly hasty, you know? Erica knew that she wasn't able to defeat Yuga, right? Haha, I know you might try your best to prevent this catastrophe, yet it happened."
Even though Marinette and Erica were no longer with him, he believed that they were with him all along.
"Don't worry."
Slowly, Ary called out, as his gaze narrowed, he added,
"I'll soon bring you two back."
Saying this, he increased his speed and disappeared into the darkness.
