Once Nathaniel was out of the professor's room he headed out for his fake dorm. Nathaniel had simply hypnotized the woman at the counter with his charms and his powers to assign him a single room for the time being. The woman now believed that Nathaniel was a student here for a long time.
Since Nathaniel was much older looking to be in a university, he decided to sign himself up for the final year. Although his features were quite handsome that made him appear younger than he was supposed to be when he died. He headed upstairs just to check out the people here, and if or not there were many supernatural beings in this corridor that would make his life difficult. When he found no one, he grinned with satisfaction and came back to his room.
He once again focussed on everything that was happening around here and to spot the reason he actually went through so much trouble in the first place. Nathaniel reached the cafeteria downstairs and spotted Connor sitting there with a woman he had noticed giving out flyers earlier this morning. Knowing who the dead guy was he couldn't help but he was curious about her as well.
However, instead of joining them, he decided to sit down at the corner and eavesdrop in their conversation while pretending to enjoy the rotten meals of humans from this generation.

…... (A while ago)...
One of the perks of being both werewolf and a vampire at the same time was that he had a strong sense of smell and strong sense of hearing, obviously both not enhanced as a full werewolf or a full fledged vampire. While returning home Connor had caught a familiar smell, a smell that he encountered on the night he met the mysterious vampire.
Connor knew that if the Vampire was here to see him, there was no way he could avoid him, so perhaps the best thing to do at this moment now was to blend into the crowd in order to avoid a one on one conversation.
Amidst his trial of the same he ended up at the cafeteria feeling hungry at the same time where he spotted the girl he ended up colliding with earlier that day, someone who handed him a bunch of flyers of a missing person called Nick Horton before running off. She seemed to in deep thought while fidgeting with her food without eating a single bite.
Connor decided to talk to her after a moment of careful thinking. He sat down in front of her prompting her to look at him. At first she was clearly unhappy to see him. "What do you want?" In a wary manner she asked.
"I wanted to talk to you about this morning." Connor declared. He figured it was better to indicate that he knew her from somewhere (which wasn't technically wrong) so that she doesn't get more anxious thinking that it's a stranger.
"What are you talking about?' The woman narrowed her eyes and asked.
"This morning you bumped into me, and spread all those flyers and then handed me two of them." Connor tried his best to jog up her memory." Connor declared.
"Oh that was you?!" The woman became wide eyed and fumbled. "I'm so sorry...I.. I was in a hurry.. And I think I left without apologizing…" She rambled on.
"It's okay" Connor blurted in order to deviate her attention. "I'm here to ask you about something else" Connor clarified
Oh?" The woman blinked. At the same time a familiar smell hit Connor's nose which was too faint due to the mixed odor in the cafeteria. However he focussed his hearing and he could tell by the voice of the person when there was an order placed that it belonged to none other than the weirdo vampire Nathaniel.
"Um...who is Nick Horton? I mean, I know you put up a picture of him but can you describe him to me?" Before she could be more puzzled he added. "I'm a freshman and I don't know a lot of people. I'm Connor by the way."
"Hi, I am in sophomore year. I am Clarice." She shrugged. "Why do you wanna know about this guy all of a sudden?"
"Well, he is missing. Maybe if I know better I can help you find him." Connor shrugged.
"And why would you wanna help me find him?" Clarice was taken aback. "Look, I really think it's sweet that you wanna help me, but… I don't know you." she added.
"Yeah, I am not exactly trying to help you." Connor declared. "I just think this is something serious. One of my Dads is a cop so I know a little bit about situations like this." He shrugged. And from where I come from, we help people. Like a lot." he shrugged.
"That's… weird." Clarice chuckled. "But, yeah sure. I guess if you wanna help me it'll be nice."
"So, what do you know about him? And why are you so sure that he disappeared?" Connor asked.
"Are you interrogating me?" Clarice was taken aback.
"Trust me. This cop style works." Connor scoffed.
"Okay…" Clarice trailed off. She thought for a moment on how to phrase her next words. "I was dating him for a couple of weeks, but I have known him for a while now. He never disappears without warning. Like he had told me everything about himself. Even the details I wish he didn't reveal to me this soon in the relationship. It's been a week, and there is no sign of him and apparently his family doesn't care. I know because I tried to call them several times." Clarice groaned.
"Maybe his family knows what happened to him?" Connor proposed. "Maybe they aren't as shared as he was," he added.
"So you think I am being crazy? That I am too paranoid." Clarice scoffed.
"I didn't say that." Connor blurted immediately.
"Look, if you are not gonna be helpful just don't bother." Clarice shook her head and left the table in haste. Connor sighed, having screwed this up. Yes he didn't know her that well, but for some reason he liked talking to her. He was contemplating apologizing to her when the brooding vampire whom he was trying to avoid sat in the place in front of him.
Before Connor could say anything, Nathaniel spoke, "You need to give up on this lost boy."
