Chapter 4 - Dmitry's Nerd (4)

Young lady heard what was happening outside the door.

Baron Romero's wrath was expected, but the problem was that the punishment imposed on Roman was too harsh.

So she couldn't understand Roman who accepted everything the lord said.

It would have been more comfortable for him if he had revealed that she had proposed to break up first, but Roman did not say Flora's name until the end.

"Are you really crazy?"

"I do not know. I believe I'm not."

The man's reaction was blunt.

Even as Flora looked up at him, she could only see him wipe the blood flowing from his head with his sleeve.

The head injury was not serious.

Baron Romero had no intention of inflicting any serious damage to Roman, but only to the extent of blood dripping from the area where the skin had been peeled off.

"Do you know what job you have now? It's Blood Fang, Blood Fang! It's a group that's reputed to be atrocious in the neighborhood, how are you going to solve it without the help of your family?

Blood Fang.

Their notoriety is not limited to Dmitry.

There were many incidents in Lawrence, especially the terrorist attack on the nobles, which raised their notoriety.

"The reason Blood Fang is scary is that they have nothing to lose. They never invade the nobility's realm if they don't touch their business, but if they think they've harmed them, they don't spare their lives and retaliate. They're not normal. They put magic bombs on their bodies and commit suicide attacks. Do you think you can handle them? It's okay to just tell the truth, so go straight to the baron and get down on your knees and ask for mercy."

"Why do I have to do that?"

"Why not! Reason enough to explain... ."

"You are a very funny person."

Roman sighed and laughed.

While looking at the eyes that seemed to melt the hearts of many men at once, Roman did not waver.

"I know what you mean. When proposing to break up the marriage, You didn't think about my circumstances at all, but when I say that I will take all the responsibility and solve the problem, you show you are worried? But that's it. From the moment you mentioned 'breakup' on the day you first met me, that person has no right to worry about my circumstances. That is between you and me, it's over."

Flora.

While meeting her, Roman was courteous as a fiancée.

To remove the smell of blood from his body, he sprayed a lot of perfume on his body that was so bad that his expression was distorted, and he wore a robe that seemed to choke on his breath.

It was to show the least courtesy to the opponent.

Roman, like Flora, was thinking about breaking up the marriage, but he didn't want to ruin the business by hurting the mood of a woman who didn't do any harm to her.

But it wasn't Flora.

The first day he sees her.

The first word to come out of her.

That was the breakup.

Looking at Flora's cold face, Roman knew he didn't need to be considerate of her.

So he accepted the divorce.

He said he would take all responsibility because he didn't want to be associated with Flora any more.

"....."

Flora was perplexed.

This was something she had never experienced in my life.

Ordinary men take their favor seriously, but Roman didn't care in the slightest.

Flora is speechless.

Looking down at her, Roman said coldly.

"We are now like north-south. So, I will take care of my work."

He drew a line.

Even though it is a flower that many men admire, its value varies from person to person.

Roman looked away as if Flora was nothing, and left her behind.

All the commotion is cleared up.

Baron Romero, alone in the office, drank until the sun went down.

"You are drinking too much."

Rihanna Dmitry.

Roman's mother and Baron Romero's wife, she checked the surroundings and said in a soft voice.

The surroundings were a mess.

The objects that Baron Romero had thrown were scattered on the ground, and the table was full of empty bottles.

The smell of alcohol emanating from the bottle was enough to make her face frown.

Baron Romero, whose face grew red from drunkenness, looked at Rihanna with a painful expression on his face.

"Rihanna. I used violence against Roman today again. I know better than anyone how wrong this is, but when I wake up, I see blood running down Roman's head. Aren't I a really bad father? I am trying to rectify things with violence because our children are not growing up the way I want them to."

He shook his head in pain.

Baron Romero is not noble by birth.

Born as a commoner, he had a difficult childhood, being beaten to death by his father, who was a blacksmith, every day.

The moment Baron Romero obtained the title of nobility, he vowed not to pass on such an experience to his children.

In fact, the three sons lived without knowing the difficulties.

The problem was that blind love was also not the right way, and Roman, who had experienced the days of commoners together, was mistaken.

He was his sore thumb, his weakness.

That was Roman.

Baron Romero, who never used violence even if Roman went wrong, could not stand it this time.

Rihanna approached Baron Romero, hugged him, and stroked his hair.

"I don't think violence is the right thing to do. But when a child goes wrong, only the parent can correct it. So don't fall for the guilt. The Romero Dmitry I know is a strong man, and he is not the type of person to sit by and watch his son go wrong."

"I am not as great as you think. If you see Roman's announcement of the breakup right after Lawrence's daughter's visit, it's probably a unilateral notification of the breakup. And yet I vented my wrath on Roman. I chose an easy match, not blaming Lawrence, even though I knew there was nothing he could do about it."

"I know your heart. But there is still a chance to get things right."

Rihanna.

He knew what she was talking about.

From the days when Baron Romero was a commoner, Rihanna always offered him a smart way.

"Are you talking about Blood Fang?"

"Yes. Roman is a proud child. So that child must have said that he was going to deal with Blood Fang alone. But if you leave it like this, you never know what will happen. So, you must protect Roman."

"Yes, you are right."

Baron Romero nodded.

Blood Fang.

He didn't think Roman could handle a group that was reputed to be atrocious.

Since he didn't know what would happen if he picked a beehive for nothing, he needed a countermeasure for Roman's safety.

Rihanna said.

"Why don't you call the Knights Commander Jonathan? Even Roman cannot handle the task alone, so he will surely try to convince the Knights Commander. Then, Captain Jonathan will just pretend he can't win and do things as Roman wants him to."

"You are right."

Jonathan.

The leader of the Dmitry Knights, and a powerful person who uses the three-star aura.

If so, you can trust it.

Baron Romero called his servant.

"Call the Knight Commander Jonathan right now."

But there was something they were overlooking.

Roman Dmitry.

He wasn't the son they knew before.

Protecting the words they spit, even at the risk of their lives, was the new Roman they would come to know.

* * *

A few days later.

Roman left the inner city.

As Hans accompanied him without any security, Hans followed Roman's foot, but he could not hide his worries.

"Young master, going out like this is really dangerous. The Blood Fang gang is a heinous group that has also experienced terrorism against nobles. They must have been thinking of retaliating against the master for the last incident, but what would happen if you walked the streets openly and without security? Please, please, rethink your choice young master."

It was as Hans said.

Last few days.

Roman found out about the Blood Fangs, and learned that they were, as rumored, a dangerous group.

Roman said, "As you said, Blood Fang is a dangerous group. In a point organization whose stronghold and size of power are unknown, people have no choice but to fear them because they do not know when and where they will attempt terrorism. But that's it. At what point do you think this Blood Fang group gained this level of power?"

"I don't know."

"It started by accident. The Blood Fang once waged wars with the usury powers that opposed them, and gained notoriety by brutally killing them. That's the start. Notoriety breeds fear, and they realize how efficiently they can use it to get things done."

It was strange.

Hans looked at Roman with an expression that he did not understand what the young master was saying.

"Anyway, it's dangerous, isn't it?"

'Right.'

Roman sighed and laughed.

That's right.

Blood Fang is actually dangerous.

Notoriety swelled up, and in order to protect that notoriety, they had to do something worthy of the notoriety.

Those who have nothing to lose in Moorim need to be careful, but the problem was that Roman was Cheonma.

Heavenly Demon Cult.

The apex of martial arts.

What happened from going from dirty muddy water to the top position?

Suicide terrorism?

That was everyday.

There were dozens of assassins attacking Baek Joong-hyuk every day, and the poisonous eyes that promised to curse him to death were so many that he couldn't even remember them.

He is a person who overcame such adversity and rose to the apex of such world.

If the opponent looked directly into their eyes, they would be cut out, and if they cursed, their tongues would be plucked out.

That's Baek Joong-hyuk's way of life.

Blood Fang's notoriety did not bring any horror to Roman.

"Let's go over there first."

"Yes?"

Roman stopped walking.

Seeing Roman suddenly entering the restaurant, Hans followed Roman in a panic while panicking.

Food came out quickly.

The variety of food that filled the table had a fragrant smell, but Roman spoke to Hans in a calm voice.

"I'll go out for a while while I eat."

"What do you mean!?"

Hans, who was drooling, was startled.

'Going out alone?'

'Doesn't that mean you want to become a prey for Blood Fang?'

"From now on, I have to deal with it. You don't need to take risks."

"You can never do that. Even if I am in danger, I cannot send you alone."

Hans was adamant.

At any moment, even with a knife that cuts meat, he had the momentum to fight to help his young master.

Laughter came out.

Hans.

He was a good person.

Roman said, "You are mine. Am I right?

"Of course, I am the master's person."

"Then do what you can for me. I do not wish for meaningless sacrifices. Doing what you cannot do is not for me, but for your own greed. So you just have to sit here and enjoy the food as I commanded you. Just coming out with me was enough for your role."

Roman.

Living a new life, he built a fence.

And, inside the fence, for the first time, a man named Hans was put.

Identity doesn't matter.

Roman accepted Hans as his man, and his life will never be taken lightly.

"I will be back soon."

So Roman got up.

Hans is left alone.

He repeated Roman's words with a shocked expression on his face.

"You are mine."

Master Roman.

'I've never heard anything like this while following him.'

Seeing him sincerely accepting him, who was only a poor man, Hans was moved without realizing it.

"I have to tell someone about this."

'We can't just let Master Roman die like this.'

'I don't know what you're thinking, but if you're out alone, there's a good chance something bad will happen.'

Hans sprinted out of his seat.

Dmitry Knights.

It was time to let them know that Dmitry's master was in danger.

Where Hans left.

The food that lost its owner grew cold.
