When Annalise woke up the next time, she was still in the same bed and inside the same huge royal bed-chamber that was filled with darkness except for the few lanterns that were providing dim lighting.
She turned around and found the other side of the bed empty. She was all alone in the room as it seemed like Damien had left at some point when she was sleeping. As for the other two lords, she hadn't seen them ever since she lost her consciousness in the Enchanted Forest.
Stretching her limbs to get them working, she wrapped the soft black blanket around her body to cover her nakedness before she finally dared to climb down the bed.
She badly needed a bath after spending the night with Damien. Her body and hair were a mess. Her cheeks burned just by thinking about the memories of what she and the Second Dark Lord did under the sheets.
