Damien hesitated for a while, contemplating what to tell her and how. He couldn't just tell her that he heard her father and the king discussing about their grand plan that included her and her husbands.
But one look into her ocean-blue eyes and he had already made his mind. "Fine, let me show you then. Consider it payback for what I just did."
He didn't give her enough time to react or say anything in response before he was already beside her, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her tightly into his embrace as he crashed his mouth over hers.
Allowing her to take a peek into his memories didn't really need him to kiss her, it could be done as simply as by just holding hands. However, he still chose to use the kiss as the bridge and it was not for her.
