Valerius stood in front of his dear wife who was looking at him with her soft eyes that always filled his entire being with warmth and never-ending love. Taking a step forward, he pulled her into his arms and squeezed her into his embrace while inhaling her scent as he nuzzled his face into the crook of her neck.
"Don't worry about here. I promise I will do my best to prepare everyone to the best of their ability for this war. Just go and do your part of the duty with tension tension-free mind. Okay?" She held a soft but assuring smile on her lips as she spoke to him while pulling away from the hug.
He tucked in a loose strand of hair behind her ear before he nodded his head in understanding. "I know that you will. Take care of yourself, love. We will see each other soon." He placed a kiss on her forehead before turning his attention toward his brothers.
