Annalise picked on some movements and as she followed the direction of the sound, she found a group of servants entering the dining hall with the freshly prepared food and drinks. Even from this far, she was able to smell the rich aroma that quickly filled the air of the huge dining hall.
In no time, the table was loaded with mouth-watering foods and Annalise couldn't keep her eyes to herself at all. It took a lot of effort on her part to stay put and pretend like her mouth wasn't salivating to taste everything.
"Let's dig in while we talk about all the stuff that has been going around lately." The Queen advised and everyone followed it as they all prepared a plate full of food for themselves.
The next few minutes were filled with the sound of cutlery and dishes coming in contact with each other as everyone focused on the food and no one talked at all, but this silence didn't last long and ended soon enough.
