"Where do you think you are going?" Kenric whispered right next to her ear, his warm breath fanning her earlobe, sending very familiar sparks running across her ear.
"Kenric..." She tried to wriggle out of his hold but she was stupid to think that she could be a match to him when it came to their physical strength. She was someone who had been constantly getting beaten up in her combat training classes even while doing something as simple as just attending herself from Damien's attacks and the man had been going really easy on her.
"Yes, Little Bird?" Kenric asked while tightening his hold on her, he seemed to have no intention of allowing her any freedom at the moment. "Why are you suddenly being so shy?" He asked while tilting his face to the side in order to take a look at her face and he genuinely seemed surprised as he asked that.
