Annalise and her little familiar followed behind the masked man as he led them out of the restaurant and through an almost empty side street. Even though they had no clue where he was taking them, Annalise had no plans of running away yet
'Master, should I leave first and alert your husbands?' The little lion suggested through the mind link in order to keep the conversation a secret from the masked man.
Annalise almost stopped in her tracks to glare at her ungrateful and coward familiar who was already thinking about abandoning her in such a serious matter. Still, she somehow succeeded in keeping her calm and continued to follow the man as she replied to her familiar, "Don't even think about going anywhere without me."
