Pristine became stiff for a couple of moments as the fairy was completely taken aback in surprise because of the sudden hug that she received from Annalise out of nowhere. Her fingers tightened around the sill of the balustrade she was sitting on but she didn't make any move to return the hug, but at the same time, she didn't push away Annalise either.
On the other hand, Annalise hugged the fairy for a couple of long seconds before finally pulling away and returning to sit on the opposite side of the same balustrade on which the fairy was sitting.
"Alright, let's say I'll respect your decision this time. If you want to keep your existence in this castle hidden from everyone else, I will never intentionally reveal it or even force you to do that either." Annalise promised as she gave the fairy a small but very warm smile.
The two women shared a warm look before a small smile also bloomed on Pristine's as she showed her gratitude for Annalise's understanding.
