Annalise watched in silence as the lush trees passed by while she and her husbands rode forward on their horses. The trees and bushes were almost passing in a blur as they were riding at a very fast speed.
It was early in the morning and they still needed a couple of hours to arrive at Lakeshire Town. While her husbands seemed really serious about whatever secret mission they had to complete in the town, Annalise was still clueless about what was so important that they were going to do in such a faraway place.
"What are you thinking about so deeply?" Kenric asked while pulling her out of the deep ocean of her thoughts. One of his hands was securely wrapped around her waist while the other was holding the reigns of his horse.
Annalise let out a small sigh as she relaxed into her husband's arm. "How come I have no idea that you guys have control over more than one element?" She asked the question that had been bugging her non-stop ever since the previous night.
