Xavier's eyes widened as he finally noticed it. The snow princess had been staring straight in his direction.
Instantly, Xavier retracted his body back into the alley, before staring at the reflection of himself shown on the frozen window opposite to him.
A nervous grin rested on his face as he took in a deep breath and grasped the handle of his sword.
'She was looking right at me…'
Prepared for confrontation, Xavier peered out of the alley once more to check up on her.
But contrary to his expectations, nothing happened. Instead, with her back turned away from him, the girl could be seen walking away whilst being accompanied by a high ranking official.
The official was a completely different one than the one she'd been interacting with earlier.
