"You... Who are you...?" Xavier asked.
Her heart skipped a beat at his question.
"Eh?" She let out in confusion.
Xavier who was about to explain, suddenly noticed an open status screen beside him with a log of what had just happened. He was so focused in the pleasure of drinking her blood that he hadn't even noticed the notifications.
[You are consuming the blood of a Vampire]
[The Vampire's strength surpasses your own.]
[Skill: Gluttony is active.]
[Absorbing the Vampire's strength.]
[The Vampire's true form is sealed so only a portion of her stats can be absorbed.]
[+1 Stat point in Strength]
[+1 Stat point in Agility.]
[+1 Stat point in sense.]
[+1 Stat point in Strength.]
[+1 Stat point in Strength.]
[You have stopped consuming the blood of a Vampire.]
Xavier's eyes widened at the notifications in the logs.
'You're telling me... I get this much stronger from just drinking blood?'
'And what was that notification? Her true form is sealed?'
"Xavi...?" She called out to himself
"Come with me." Said Xavier before grabbing her by the hand and pulling her away.

The girls eyes sparked as she joyfully stared at Xavier.
The two were inside of an empty café. They were both drenched by the rain and drying off.
Xavier had just finished explaining to her about everything that had happened. How he had been dreaming about her, how he had suddenly woken up with this mark on his shoulder and how he had forgotten all about her.
'I thought she'd be a little more upset that I forgot?'
"Why are you smiling?"
"Fufu~ Because my dear Xavi was dreaming of me every night~" She muttered to herself as she placed both hands on her flustered face to cover it.
Xavier stared at her with an interrogative and doubtful look.
'...This girl... I don't know why but she's into me for some reason...'
'If that's the case, then I might as well make use of it.'
"Hey, stop playing around. Weren't you the one who gave me those dreams?" He asked.
She quickly lowered her hands and turned to him before shaking her head, her cheeks were inflated in a sulk.
"That's rude, what kind of wife would for her husband to dream of her? Besides, the sexy and adorable me doesn't need any tricks to make you dream about me." She spoke with a bright confident smile.
'Wife... So she's my wife?'
Xavier scanned her curvy petite figure once more. The clothing she wore was unusual, a long dark cloak which covered her body, with a light silky dark dress beneath it. While in a way she was sexy, Xavier did not want to admit it.
"Sexy...? Where?"
"Gah!" She froze up.
Her eyes teared up slightly from embarrassment as she pointed at him. "T-That's because my true form is sealed right now... That's why I'm stuck in this tiny body..." She sulked.
Xavier's ears twitched.
'True form... What's this true form I keep hearing about?'
"Then, let me see this true form." He said.
She blushed after hearing such.
"Oh... Right, you forgot, didn't you?"
'..What's she talking about? Have I seen it before?'
Without saying anything else, she took off her cloak and lowered her dress to the point where it was revealing just a portion of her chest.
She watched with a flustered expression as Xavier stared intently.
A long chain had spread itself around along the top of the chest and around the back. At the very centre of the chain which was on her chest, there was a tiny metal skull design with two fangs protruding out of it.
"You're staring at it quietly intensely..." She teased. "If you want, I can show you some more..."
Xavier not buying into her advancements, suddenly extended his arm out and grabbed onto the skull design.
*Katchunk*
In that instant, an unlocking sound was heard.
In that instant, Xavier felt it. An ominous feeling which made his throat go dry, a darkness which sent chills down his spine and a strong thirst of blood which felt minor in comparison to his own.
The two's expression instantly turned dumbfounded as Xavier instantly let go of the metal skull and pulled his arm back.
*Clunk*
A locking sound echoed.
"Just now... It unlocked...?" Xavier questioned.
"Yeah, my true form is sealed but as my husband and bond, you can unlock it."
Xavier raised an eyebrow.
"First husband and now bond...?"
She scratched the back of her head before letting out a nervous chuckle.
"Right... I haven't explained that have I?"
-
A Vampire bond, in otherwords, a connection made between a Vampire and an individual. Her the connection is made is unknown, it can be made by a Vampire gaining strong feelings for an individual, it can happen by just meeting an individual as if it were fate.
A bond is a special for Vampires for various reasons. It can show just how special a Vampire's relationship with an individual is while also showing a potential relationships.
Vampires who've bonded can also share blood with one another while using each other's blood as a means to quench their thirst.
"So you're saying, I am your bond. Is that why you are calling me your husband?"
"Yes and no. You are my bond, but I wouldn't marry someone just because of that..."
"Then why?" Xavier asked.
"You really can't remember anything, huh... It's because..."
After realising that Xavier truly couldn't remember anything her expression grew even more sadder htan before.
But it was only for a moment before it was all smiles again.
"I won't tell you, you'll have to figure out yourself when you get your memories back."
"And how am I supposed to do that?"
"Well that's obvious isn't it?" She asked before pointing at him.
Xavier stared intently at her, waiting for her follow up and the answer.
"Time will tell!" She spoke cheerfully
Xavier sighed.
"Alright, alright. Vampire wife~" He muttered before laying down on the café's sofa.
'W-Wife... T-That has a nice ring to it...' She thought to herself as she became flustered.
Xavier grew quiet as he tried to get comfortable enough to doze off.
"W-What are you doing?" She asked as she suddenly sat down beside his head.
"Going to sleep."
'I need to set a new checkpoint, I don't want to have to go through this interaction again. The moment I wake up, I'll begin searching through the city for the Vampire camps, we'll split up to make things faster.'

-Memory End
Although he had yet to test it, that was what the System said, the only way to confirm whether or not it was the case would be for him to die which he planned on doing after waking up.
There was also something about this feature that Xavier didn't like, a big weakness. Be he tried not thinking about it too much.
'She might also know something about the camps but I'll ask after the checkpoint is set... Getting more of her trust to make use of her is the priority for now.'
Xavier's head was suddenly lifted up only to be placed on a soft cushion like legs.He opened his eyes only to find his head resting on her lap.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
"I've seen couples do this and I've always wanted to try it..." She spoke cheerfully.
"...Alright."
Without saying anything else Xavier began to doze off, it was truly much more comfortable than before.
How could the girl's legs be so soft, her neck so fragile and yet... The true form inside of her... How could it be so terrifying.
There was a lot he didn't know about her, he didn't even remotely trust her, but to be able to make good use of her, he needed to lower his guard around her, if not just a little.
And so he did.
"Hey~ Xavi... Why did you look so sad today...?" She asked.
"..."
"...Neverm-"
"My family... They were kidnapped by Vampires..." He muttered.
Understanding what it meant the girl's expression grew worried.
She began stroking Xavier's dark and silver hair whilst trying to think of something to say. She wanted to comfort him even if it were only a little.
"I'm sure they'll be fine... As your wife, I'll make sure we find them."
"..."
To this, Xavier didn't say anything and simply nodded.
"...Why were you, so happy today?" He asked.
An adorable smile grew on the girl's blushing face before she responded.
"Because I got to see you... And it was also the first time... That someone sucked my blood..."
"..."
'What does she even like about me anyways... She's honestly so... Weird...'
With but a quiet yawn, Xavier quickly dozed off.
"Fufufu~ His sleeping face is so cute..." She muttered as she poked at it slightly.
The longer she stared at him, the redder her face became. It was just the two of them, all alone there.
Knowing this, she slowly leaned in towards his face.
*Smooch*
And just like that, they made contact with his forehead.
After that little kiss, she moved back up before turning her head outside the café.
A scene scary enough to cause ven the bravest of people to faint stood right before her eyes.
Countless ghouls could be seen outside, eyeing the inside of the café. Their hands were ready to smack and crash against the windows and come charging in after their prey.
"Ghouls do not attack Vampires... So their target must be Xavi who's not yet fully turned."
Her eyes grew cold and dark as she glared at them.
"To even dare to think of hurting my husband... Die."
*Snap*
The shadow of a long scythe suddenly manifested across the café, slashing away at their heads in a blink.
