Later that day, Adora went up on the ship's deck and smiled as she gazed out at the beautiful sea.
"It's so peaceful," she commented.
"Your highness," the captain said as he stepped onto the deck, and she turned to face him.
"Is there something wrong?" she inquired.
"No, I just wanted to let you know that before we get to your destination, which will take some time," he explained. "Recently, many ships have been cornered by pirates, some of whom have powers, and at times the sea can get pretty rough, so it might take a little longer to get there."
"I understand, don't worry, we can protect ourselves, and it doesn't matter how long it takes, we have time on our hands," she said, and the captain smiled.
"It's good to see you smile again, princess; I hope to travel with you more," he said as he walked away, and she sighed.
"If only I could be happy," she mumbled as Nina and the others came up on deck and sat in the comfortable laid back chairs.
