Alix closed his eyes and took a deep breath as all of the different emotions were swirling within him, threatening to overcome him one way or the other as he remembered all of the moments, he had with Adora and the promises that were made, now knowing one move and all of those times together can shatter, like a fragile piece of memory.
A small smile played on his lips, a sign of him wanting to cherish those memories he had with her, even the smallest ones, hoping that by some miracle he would not have to kill the one person he had ever loved in his lifetime, not wanting to lose the person who gave him everything and helped him to become who he was until now.
He took a deep breath and disappeared from before Mirage and reappeared, directly in front of Adora, causing her to flinch a bit when she saw the almost feral look within his eyes and he smirked as he pulled her closer.
