"Poseidon?!"
Arthur, ever the good sport, played along with Evan.
"Uncle?!"
"…wait…what?"
His casual mention of the god's name had been meant as a joke, but Arthur's response made him do a double take.
Arthur turned to him, completely calm despite the chaos around them and explained.
"Poseidon's my Uncle, didn't I tell you?"
"…come to think of it, you did say Hades was your dad, so it makes sense that Poseidon is your uncle."
Evan had decided not to waste brainpower trying to understand how Arthur, being a 'godslayer', was the child of a 'god', so he'd pushed those thoughts to the back of his mind. But remembering them now made Arthur's words make sense.
For a moment, Arthur pondered how Evan, hailing from this Universe, was familiar with the names of gods from another realm quintillions of parsecs away.
However, Evan's next words snapped him back to reality.
"This is NOT the time to talk about this, isn't it?"
