Evan darted through the sky, weaving around the Kraken's thrashing tentacles. As one massive arm lashed out at him, Evan met it head-on, slashing downward with the Unforged Vale wreathed in golden ice.
The blade sliced through the thick flesh, and as it did, the ice seeped into the Kraken's body.
Immediately, Evan deactivated Harbinger of Ice and watched the spot he slashed. Within seconds, the ice patch that initially only covered a small area around the wound rapidly spread out like a creeping sickness.
The Kraken let out an agonized roar as the corrosion took hold, black blood spilling out as its skin broke down.
'I see. It also gave my normal Ice Element Soul Damaging properties.'
Normally, Evan could only damage souls with the destruction essence of BoD. He infused its power into his elemental attacks, hence why his ice and lightning used with BoD were usually 'crimson-gold' in colour.
