It was, an infinite darkness.

There was one spot, where there was light.
A throne that floated within the darkness--Only there.
A being sat on this throne looking at a screen in front of him, watching the battle against Silverwing with a blank look on his face.
Just as he saw Evan pass out while standing, he nodded to himself and spoke.
"Good. He's not slacking off.
If he goes into 'that place' afterwards, he'd grow even more powerful. Powerful enough to match that Giant Lizard in Lacertilia."
Rewinding the events that happened, he placed a hand on his chin and spoke.
"I like the way he used that 'Time Difference' skill there.
Maybe he might have an affinity for time…this time."
As he spoke, he opened his palm and multicoloured energy gathered atop it, condensing as the space it began distorting.
