"Tess!"I called out to her but no response as she had collapse into my arms. I panicked as tears streams down my eyes.
How will I explain to my parents that we went to the club and a gun man shoot her dead.
"Since they ruined my life by killing my love and sister,then I will make them pay."I said to myself,I placed her down on a table.
I ran after the man who shoot my sister who is trying to escape from the club, seeing that he was pursued,he run faster out the club towards a parked car.
"Small,be fast."the driver said.
"Start the car engine,Lan, open the door quickly,I got a pursuer."he said toward me as I advance towards them quickly with a rod in my hand.
The driver swing into action,he turned on the car ignition and move off speedily as he jumped into the car.
He gave me a fuck you 🖕sign. Furiously,I throw the rod toward the car,it shatter the car window and knocked the driver on his head making him to lose control as the car swerved off till the car moved out sight.
"should I just end it all? I got no companion again."I asked myself as I saw lorries and cars moving speedily on the road.
"What of your parents?,don't you think that they will also die of depression."my conscience said.
"To hell with parents,do they really care about us,they are always busy with their businesses and leave us alone to take care of ourselves."I fired back.
"Why don't you just look at her face for the last time?"the conscience said
I entered into the club which is now almost empty as the crowd had all disperse immediately after the gunshot.
"Where is Tess?"I asked myself.
"Where can she be?Could it be that the assassin also need her dead body too?"I thought within my mind as I mind an empty space .
"David"I heard from a familiar sweet voice as a soft hand tapped me on my back.
My eyes popped out and I was damn shocked as I turned back to the direction of the voice.
"What the fuck!!!"I exclaimed as I saw Tessa standing before me healthy and unhealthy.
"Ghost"I screamed and ran off as she ran after me ,trying to explain to me but they all fell on deaf ears.
Unknown POV.
At an unknown location,a car come to halt in front of a building. Four men alighted from the car and proceeded inside the building where over twenty guys and men are.
"You guys are back,was the mission successful?"the leader asked as he lit a cigarette.
"It is successful,but her brother almost got us but we managed to escaped from him,he even broke the car window"Small said.
"Len,go and lit up the car,in other to clear all evidence to partaking to the assassination."the leader said.
Lex picked up a gallon of petrol and a lighter and went out to the building.
"Boss,the mission was successful"he said.
"Good, make sure that no trace left behind "the boss said.
"Ok boss,it will be done."the leader said and the boss hung up the call.
