The man with black eyes held up his hands.
["I don't know what happened here, but can we just talk for a second?"](still in Romanian)
The man's eyes went wide as he noticed the silver crest on Vector's training uniform.
"Wait… are you from Circle Academy? "
Vector nodded.
The man heaved a sigh of relief.
"Oh, good. This must be a huge misunderstanding. I've worked with Supreme for years. Since you haven't severely damaged the city or killed anyone we can still talk this out."
Vector put his arms to his sides.
"I came here to talk in the first place. They decided it would be a better idea to try and capture me… So, how about you? Talk or fight?"
The man looked at the newly formed hills of upturned dirt and stone, then down at his holo-device. After a couple seconds of looking through information that came up on his device he looked back at Vector.
"Well they are all still alive. My name is Darkfire. So what brought about this… misunderstanding?"
Vector squinted.
'Hmmm… Why does that name seem so familiar? Oh right, he's a S+ rank. He's the leader of the Block.'
The man with black eyes looked at the small figure in front of him.
RIIIING!!! RIIIING!!!
Vector's holo-device rang. He held up a finger.
"I'm sorry I have to take this."
The man's face was painted with confusion. However he nodded and remained silent.
Vector answered the call.
"Yes sir, how may I help you."
Supreme's face formed above the device.
"Where are you right now?"
"I'm currently in the Block talking to Darkfire."
"WHAT?! I keep forgetting how fast you are… I just hit the Atlantic. I'll be there as soon as I can. Be careful. There are 5 members of the Block."
"Yes sir, they were here a moment ago. They are sitting this out while we're talking."
"Good. I'm on my way."
After saying those words Supreme disconnected the call.
A moment later Vector's holo-device beeped. Looking down he read the message.

Vector's eyes started glowing. His head slowly turned towards the black eyed man. His eyes filled with hate.
Before the man could react Vector had grabbed him by the throat and dragged him into orbit.
—------------------------
The Sky above Erou City
A flash of light resembling a lightning bolt burst in the sky. It was so bright it became daylight for a moment across the area around the city. People gazed at the sky in horror and awe.
It vanished as quickly as it appeared.
—------------------------
3000km above Erou City
Vector opened his right hand. Looking at the bit of carbon dust that remained of Darkfire. It slowly flowed off of his hand as his whole body shook. His tears floating slowly away from his face in two streams.
'I killed someone… It's Ok. Grandma's been helping me train for this since I was little. He had already killed a lot of innocent people. it's not like he was some random person or a civilian. He was a terrorist.
Everything seemed to grind to a halt as Kai floated there trying to rationalize what he had done. For him it seemed like days.
He had wiped Darkfire out of existence in every way except as a concept. Only the memories of the man and what he had done still existed.
Ever since his parents died his grandma had been training him to get stronger. She had been preparing him for the day he took his first human life. She knew that as an S+ he would eventually have to kill to protect others.
'The man who killed my parents is dead. I killed him. I killed another human. He was just standing there talking to me. Then… I… I… I killed a mass murderer.
Vector straightened his body as his eyes cleared and he flew towards the Atlantic Ocean.
What had seemed days for Kai had been less than a nanosecond for the rest of the universe.
—------------------------
2km above sea level, 500 km off the coast of the eastern coast of the US
As Supreme flew toward the European coast Vector appeared in front of him. He was immediately prepared to fight until he recognized the boy.
"What are you doing here?"
Vector's eyes showed confusion.
"I came to find you after I got rid of that mass murdering monster."
"But I just sent that message. It's only been a couple minutes…"
Supreme's body stiffened as the realization of the speed required for Kai to be standing in front of him hit.
Supreme fought the urge to back up.
"So what happened?"
Vector looked down at the sea, the early afternoon sun reflecting off his silver hair.
"I killed Darkfire. I know it was wrong, but I lost it once I knew he had caused the massacre."
Supreme floated up to the still distraught and conflicted teen. He put his hand on the boy's shoulder.
"Are you going to be alright? It can be hard the first time you take a life."
"Yes sir. I think I'm OK. It might just be because I knew what he had done but, I think I'll be ok."
"Did you get a confession out of him?"
Vector looked up into Supreme's eyes.
"There wasn't time. He died too quickly."
Supreme looked toward the east then back at Kai.
"Did you tell anyone who you were?"
"No sir…"
"Good."
"What?!"
Supreme looked Kai in the eyes.
"You were never there. I caught up to you here. We talked, then we headed home after."
Kai's expression turned to one of confusion.
"But I killed someone…"
"As far as I'm concerned, you were never there. Darkfire severely injured your grandmother, killed my son and almost killed John. Just like he killed your parents and half a million other innocent people. He deserved to die. Sometimes people like that need to die."
