Merry had been waiting for her friends since forever and the sun had been down for a long time. But, there was no sign of them coming back.
She had never felt a brief span or to say a day like eternity. Her eyes were getting heavy, she was finally feeling the exhaustion of all those unexpected happenings.
She was laying down on the couch uncomfortably, one small movement and she would fall from the couch.
Just then, she heard someone opening the door. It was Katie.
"Hey, you are back," Merry said getting up.
""Yeah, it got over for the day," Katie replied sitting next to Merry.
"What did you do today?"
"Was it the same as every day or did you do something new?"
Even though Merry had lots of mixed feelings about these trainings and tests, she was at the same time curious about those.
"Yeah, it was a little bit different today. The instructor was constantly hovering around me."
