I gave her a minute to catch her breath while she hugged my head again.
It was funny how even these short pauses that interrupted all the action we were having became something to look forward to...
I placed my ear over her heart and listened as it fluttered. It was me, I made her heart go wild like this.
Deep down I knew she deserved better, no, much better than the place we were currently at. But the simple truth was, I didn't want these moments of peace to end, and I wanted her.
I wanted to go all the way.
How could I not?
Her heart slowly but surely returned to normal, I knew she was completely back when she planted a deep long kiss over my hair.
"Down you go," I told her.
She removed one leg from over my shoulder and then the other, dropping right into my arms. Her arms were wrapped around my neck.
We stared at each other for a long moment. Both of us were looking for something. Then unmistakable desire darkened her eyes, her expression was one of expectation.
