It was the first time she looked at me today, for her to remain this quiet was normal around the kings, but it wasn't normal at all when we were strategizing. She only answered the questions Mark or I directly asked her.
"…Sure, let's talk," I looked at Mark, "I'll leave it to you, let's meet again in the evening,"
He nodded and blurred out of the room. My shadow was the busiest one of us all at the moment.

Her eyes widened at the exact second when the upper part of my gut hurt. And if she thought that I was oblivious to the change that was happening inside of her, she thought wrong.
