As expected,
Riding Raven felt like… going back to elementary school and visiting the classroom that once felt so big.
"Sorry, babe,"
Raven didn't grow slower; I grew ridiculously faster. But I was celebrating the clear sky, I wondered if she'd like riding it.
I hoped so.
Riding Raven took my head off annoying stuff such as Arthur. He was on my case all noon, I ended up running back to my house earlier, which gave me a chance to clean up a bit and check on Raven before taking her out.
The vampire wanted to talk but I wasn't ready. I was still traumatized by the image of all those pictures for me all over his desk.
I needed time.

Was it the motorcycle? Or the whole king and Alpha thing?
I was leaning against Raven after parking her in front of Sophie's school. And it felt like the first school day I had in Anchorage all over again.
