I had a pen and a paper in my hand, and I knew I had to sign this... The problem was that I couldn't remember my signature.

'Can you do this for me?'

My hand moved as if it had a mind of its own, and my eyes registered that it was the correct signature. My wolf was so reliable — I was lucky to have her.

Her... At least I'd always have her.

'Thank you,' I told my wolf when I felt her giving me back the driving wheel. I had been leaning on her for a while now, and it wasn't without side effects.

Like what happened in that ridiculous excuse of a meeting yesterday.

I hated that place with all my heart, I hated this place too… How was I supposed to accomplish anything when all the Turner's bloodline was watching over my shoulder? If I asked for all the pictures to be taken down, would the pack accuse me of blasphemy and throw rocks at me?

Maybe only the old wolves. Lexi would be the one to throw the first rock.

"It's not funny," he said.
