"That you are dating some guy?" Jerrick asks as if he is not so sure.
Apparently, a paparazzi coming from an affiliate media company reached out to Irene's company CEO, Jerrick himself, and showed him a set of pictures of Irene and an unknown man.
Jerrick was able to convince the paparazzi after a long negotiation not to release the said photographs. Otherwise, it would have adversely affected Irene's career for sure. They could not afford to handle a dating scandal right now especially that she has a lot of things planned ahead for her.
Irene was not surprise at all. She knew that sooner or later, the cunning paparazzi will soon learn about her relationship status. She is not really afraid of being exposed as having a relationship.
"So what? I mean, you can't possibly bar me from dating, right?" Irene sounds sarcastic about the entire situation.
