Irene opens her eyes at the unusual feeling of having someone beside her. She turns her head on the right side and sees Amiel sleeping soundly next to her. His chest slowly rises and fall as he breathe.
Her feet touched the cold floor when she got up, Irene removes the blanket off her body. It was still four in the morning, the world is still silent and peaceful. Probably the other half of the population are still asleep.
Irene tries to move and walk as slowly as she can on the way to the kitchen. She usually wakes up at around eight in the morning, however, having someone in the same bed as her is very new.
While she is waiting for the water to boil, Irene sits in idleness in the countertop table as she stares into nothing. Her eyes are burning maybe because she woke up too early than she usually does.
