Indeed, later that day, Irene receives a call from Amiel. At first, she was quite flustered that he actually knows how to use a phone because they don't have it in Rosemoor.
"Are you busy?' Amiel asks.
As if Amiel was right in front of her, Irene shook her head and answered, "No. Today is my day-off. Why?" She asks, there is a hint of sadness in her voice.
"Let's meet tonight. Six in the evening at the park by the Han River." He said hich Irene gladly accepted.
'Something sounded off about him.' Irene tilts her head to think about what could be the reason for his unusual actions and the way he speaks to her.
Irene does really hope that she is just indeed overthinking but Amiel sounded so cold and chilling just like the first time she met him and not as her boyfriend. She is actually thinking about a lot of things already.
