Valerie sighed and shook her head while looking at Irene as if she was a hopeless case. She scanned Irene's facial expression, her slouched shoulders, and constant sighs.
"You don't look like someone who is fine," Valerie motioned her hands downwards. Irene rested her head on her hands as her elbows were on the table.
Irene let out a deep sigh once again and bit the insides of her cheeks, "I don't know, Val. I feel so sad these past few days." She finally said while playing with her nails, getting rid of the nail polish on it.
For a minute, Valerie stares at Irene who has a droopy body. Irene walked to the living room and slouched in a corner as she wraps her hand around herself.
"What is it? What is bothering you? What is the reason you are sad, Irene?" Valerie sympathetically asks, following her to the living room while still holding a glass of water on her hand.
