The next day, Irene woke up to an intense and head-splitting headache. She groped for a bottle of water on the bedside table but found none which is why she got up and dizzily limps to the fridge.
After getting some water, she sat down on the couch and massaged her throbbing head.
"How much did we drink last night? I remember having a hard time making it back here in my room," Irene tries to recall the events the night before and successfully brings back to mind that she sort of had a question and answer portion with River last night on the pursuit of knowing each other better.
By herself, Irene throws her head back and shakes it with laughter.
"River is such a talkative fellow when drunk. My throat almost went drought last night keeping up with the various conversation topics he effortlessly provided last night. I actually remember us talking about being amphibians," Irene smacks her palm on her forehead while dying out of laughter.
