He could only hope now that his dad would give him an easy way out.
Qin Yanzhi had no idea what his son was thinking; he thought the boy wanted to head back home quickly.
Patting Qin Yumu's shoulder, Qin Yanzhi said, "I'll call the driver now to pick you up."
"Dad, there's no need to go to all that trouble," Qin Yumu hurriedly responded.
"What do you mean, no need to go to all that trouble? You're still young, and I couldn't possibly let you take the bus or a taxi back alone at this late hour."
"It's not that... I mean, if it really doesn't work out, I might as well go back with you guys," Qin Yumu said in a low voice.
"You don't need to force yourself like this," Qin Yanzhi whispered in Qin Yumu's ear, "I don't want you to do anything you don't like. As a man, I know how tiring shopping can be. Your brother and I can handle this burden; you don't need to."
Qin Yanzhi thought he was being very considerate of his son, sparing him from a big problem.
