"Okay," Susu nodded.
Then the Qin family patriarch carried Susu out the door.
It was at this moment, Qin Yuze saw another scene that made his eyes bulge and his mouth gape:
This three-year-old toddler, with just one finger, poked a hole in the edge of the door frame and then pointed at him threateningly.
Susu grinned with her little mouth, "Daddy said no to throwing punches, but he didn't say no to moving fingers."
She just moved her finger a tiny bit!
Qin Yuze felt a chill down his spine and was both depressed and angry.
Where on earth did this little monster pop out from! It infuriated him!
No, he had to talk to his family about this, partly to have his parents investigate the little guy's background further, and partly so they could brace themselves in advance!
Qin Yuze returned to his bedroom and took out his phone to call his father, Qin Xingzhi.
As soon as the call connected, he heard Qin Xingzhi inquire about the family situation: "You little rascal, how are your grandparents? Are they settling in okay after coming back?"
"Grandpa and Grandma are fine, but they brought back a girl not yet four years old, claiming that she's their daughter," Qin Yuze said with a stern face, frowning deeply.
"What are you babbling about, you brat? Where did your grandparents get a daughter from? Are you confused from playing too many games?"
"I'm not confused, I asked very clearly. And that little girl is incredibly strong; she just flipped over the door to my study."
Talking about it now, Qin Yuze still felt a bit of horror.
"You really are talking nonsense. Are you groggy from sleep, or did you get confused from reading novels? Alright, alright, let's talk when your mother and I get back. I have a meeting to attend in a bit, take good care of your grandparents."
Qin Xingzhi wasn't very concerned about what his son said regarding his parents bringing back a little girl and quickly hung up the phone.
After being hung up on by his father, Qin Yuze tried calling his mother, but he couldn't get through.
He then tried to call his eldest brother, but the call couldn't be connected.
Qin Yuze then remembered that because he had gotten into a fight at school and ended up in the police station, once his elder brother bailed him out, he blocked him.
So now, he had no one to share his troubles with or to discuss matters with.
###
Over the next two days, Susu familiarized herself with her new home.
She had several brothers, sisters-in-law, and nephews, but unfortunately, none of them were home, as they had gone on business trips and wouldn't be back for a couple of days.
The Qin family mansion was located in the most famous wealthy district of Huacheng City, and the neighborhood was populated by the rich and influential of Huacheng.
One of the main reasons the old Mrs. and Mr. Qin brought Susu to the city was to find a kindergarten for her to attend.
The countryside had clean air and beautiful scenery, but it was lacking in people and resources.
They didn't want their precious daughter to fall behind right at the starting line.
Early in the morning, the old Mr. and Mrs. Qin, dressed neatly, took Susu by the hand and headed out.
They were prepared to take Susu to visit a kindergarten.
Today, Susu was dressed in a light and casual outfit: a tiny printed T-shirt with khaki shorts, simple and convenient for her to move around outdoors.
As they reached the door, they encountered Qin Yuze, who was just about to go out and play basketball with friends.
"Nephew!" Susu proactively greeted Qin Yuze and waved at him.
Because children's tongues are still soft, her pronunciation wasn't very clear, and the word "nephew" was slightly muffled but undeniably cute.
Qin Yuze couldn't help but shudder.
In the past two days at home, he had tried his best to avoid encountering this little one.
But it seemed you could hide on the first day, but not on the fifteenth; today, as soon as he stepped out, he ran into her again.
