"Why blue, Collins?"
I looked up from the information desk's computer screen to see Wilson leaning lazily over the counter's edge.
"Am I?"
"Sure. You have the saddest look on your face I have ever seen. It's shattering my heart."
"Oh. Sorry. Just exhausted, I guess."
"Well, then, get out of here. Your shift is over."
Glancing down, I read the time on the computer. Five-oh- seven.
"I guess it is."
He eyed me askance as I rose listlessly from the chair and made my way out from behind the desk.
"Sure you are good?"
"Yeah. Like I said, just exhausted. I will see you around." I started to walk away.
"Oh, hey, Collins?"
"Yeah?"
"You are friendly with Loftbrok, are you not?"
"Sort of," I conceded cautiously.
"Do you know what happened to him? He often here, like, every day, and now he has been gone all week. It's freaking Warren out. She feels we offended him or something."
