"Hurry! We're going to be late!" Yelled a 10 year old, pulling his 9 year old friend along with him. "I don't care about school, Dawn!" Aza cried, trying his best to make them late. "Mother never wants me to walk to school! This is the only opportunity!" "You snuck out! You'll both get us in trouble! I should've never slept over..!" The hazel eyed boy laughed at that. Birds flew above the two as they turned a corner, spooking a flock of pigeons and crows. It was a beautiful day out, the sun shining, the wind making it the perfect weather for such a hot day. Sounds of tennis shoe's bottoms patting across the slightly cracked sidewalk, the wind of cars zooming by nearly taking off with the two.
"You little shits!" Yelled a sudden woman, a white mustang with a light brown roof slowly pulling up beside them, cars honking for her to hurry. "Sorry, mother!" Dawn quickly squealed out, tripping to a stop. Cause of the sudden stop, Aza rammed into Dawn, causing them to fall on their backpacks perfectly. Beth unlocked the door, "get inside!" Beth yelled through the loud horns behind her. Aza grabbed Dawn by the collar, yanking him up as he practically dragged the squirming 10 year old into the car.

"You're the new boss of my company. The mafia boss." Is what the paper said. The 15-year old stared at the note, not believing a word it said. "Is it true?" He asked himself, a voice saying "yes," behind him. Dawn waved his hand, furrowing his brows. "I am not asking you. I'm asking myself.". The boy leaned against the slightly broken wooden chair, cupping his chin in between his right thumb and index finger. His eyes trailed back to the green glowing tanks, noticing some of the creatures slightly staring at him.
"What do you think?" Dawn asked, getting up and walking to the nearest tank, the footsteps echoing through out the building. "They think you're nuts," said the voice again. Dawn immediately stopped, turning around and glaring at the figure in front of him. "Shoo! I didn't ask for you to be here!" Shouted the male as he waved his arm, the figure fading like steam after a hot shower. He huffed, looking down at the note. "Well..if I am. Then that means I get anything I want.." He tapped his foot , puckering his lips in concentration.
"Ah! I know! I'll ask the front desk below! Perhaps they know!" Dawn told himself, walking past the tanks as he heard them moan and groan in pain. "Don't worry, if I am the mafia boss, then I'll let you all go!" He chuckled as he turned around, backing into the opened elevator. "Perhaps you can be guards..". The elevator doors closed, with it starting to lower to the first floor, the slightly dimmed moonlight shining down on the building, stars twinkling in the night with the mixture of the sunset.
"You're being oddly calm." Dawn looked beside him, seeing his bloodied father. "Ah, maybe I am. Maybe I'm not. It's not everyday you get such power." Dawn told his hallucination, looking forward once more. "Yet again, it's a horrible business. Horrible power. You kill!" The father snapped, grabbing his arm, with it going through it. Dawn shivered at the coldness passing through, "I'll make it better." "You have to do an oath, Dawn! If you break that oath, people will come after you. Deny it before it's too late—,". "I know what I'm doing," The boy cut off the figure, waving his hand across his stomach, it vanishing into thin air.
Dawn tucked his hands in his overcoat, the elevator opening. He walked out as many people rushed to get inside, nearly pushing the boy to the ground. He shoved and pushed against people, taking forever to get to the front desk. Once he did, he walked up to the receptionist, ignoring the people snapping at him to get in line. He slammed his hand on the desk. "Hello! May I talk to you..in private?".
