Chapter 2 - The Kraken Summoned - 2

Jack: "Invoker response I am in the navy."

Sorakai: "I mean, yeah."

Tar: "What about someone of mine and stature?"

Tar begins to present himself. Sorakai quickly turns his head over to Tar.

Sorakai: "Yeah, you will become a slave or prisoner at that point."

The group lets out a soft laugh and quick stops.

Jack: "I just want to ask them a few questions. I want to know which country they hail from, what's their ship name? "

Sorakai: "Why don't we just wait until nightfall and get the jump on them."

Jake: "I would be able to see a lot better at night."

Sorakai: "Why don't we wait until nightfall, my friend? We can get the jump on them. Then we can do a little tango here and there."

Jack: "Alright, fine."

Jack's face showed some disappointment.

Abigaile: "People that they take captive. Like are you sure that they're going to be staying overnight?"

Sorakai: "Absolutely!"

Abigaile begins to rummage around in her bag and gathers up some alcohol.

Abigaile: "Tell me again, what brings you here?"

Sorakai: "Well, I don't remember how I got here. I just remember a large boom, and then you guys woke me up. I got this bad pain in my chest. But you know it's whatever."

Sorakai takes the flask from Abigaile and begins to start drinking it. Abigaile begins waving her hands around.

Abigaile: (Infernal) "Change the flavor of this drink into petroleum!"

Abigaile changes the tone of her voice.

Abigaile: "So uh did you escape from these gentlemen or uh maybe you are friends with them?"

Sorakai: "Uh not friends, on. I just know who they are. I recognize the ship and the uniforms that they have."

The group begins to dig into the sand, drinking and relaxing against one another. Watching across the dunes and rocks. Waiting for the perfect time to strike.

Abigaile: "So you're positive that they're going to be staying. Because they look like they're about ready to slice those people's throats up there. Like if there's something that we're missing."

Sorakai: "Uh yeah I mean I did say either before that the two prisoners were murderers you know they killed a shit ton of people. Well, at least what I had heard them say when I was traveling with them."

Jake and Abigaile: "Hmm."

Abigaile: "But you can't seem to remember anything else? Would you mind if maybe try to help you bring some of those memories forward, and you know maybe help you recover a little bit that bump on your head, and these broken ribs a little? Would you mind if I helped you?"

Sorakai: "I'll tell you what. You heal the pain in my chest and uh you let me try to remember on my own. I'm not really a magic lover."

Jake: "Where are you dying of a heart attack?"

Sorakai: "No heart attack."

Sorakai begins to rub his chest.

Sorakai: "My bones hurt."

Jake: "Have you ever eaten fruits?"

Sorakai: "Of course?"

Sorakai looks at Jake funny.

Abigaile: "There's just, I don't know uh something with the story isn't sitting right."

Abigaile begins to hum and rock back and forth for a moment. Her face starts to turn a little daunting, her clothes start to shrink up, starting to deteriorate, and you can see bits of it just kind of flowing off in the wind. Her hands start to look like they're being brad with mummy wrappings, and her eyes begin to turn white. The skin on her face starts to deteriorate a little bit, bits by her jaw and skin kind of look like it is rotting off and she looks a little bit like a bog body mixed with a mummy. Abigaile turns her head at Sorakai and then begins walking off towards the people who look like they are fixing to get murdered. Hoping to scare them away from the two villagers. Jake quickly walks in front of Abigaile.

Jake: "Friend, I know you are upset like me. I know you think that this is not all right. I know this is not right, but we do not act in haste. We wait on the night when I can see, and then I am more effective with my spells. If we wait until night. We can set them free. I can call crystal action, and I'm sure a big friend over there will be happy. The big distraction is towards me. Yes, yes, and then uh when we all cause the distraction. You others can sneak over, and help them. To haste, and one of us could die."

Sorakai: "Exactly, see. The elf sees reason."

Jake quickly turns his head and gives Sorakai a look of "if only I could see".

Jake: "So we might easily spring a trap and he's not from this pier. But we should sneak around the south and come around."

The group decides to sneak around the village, hoping to get a better view. Once they make it to the south of the village quietly. Noticed a tree cut down and figured it could be used for cover. With twelve hours passing, the winds begin to pick up, the clouds roll in, waves become restless, and the water's color changes to a murkiness. Thunderbolts strike the two villagers. Sand explodes high in the air. Once the sand begins to settle. An egg could be seen. The ruff individuals begin running to the ocean as they can see two more individuals fighting at the shore edge. Jack, Half-orc/Bard, and Jake would recognize a rare sight only heard through stories. Off in the distance, a humanoid figure rises from the open waters with the look of hope to save mankind from a great evil.

Jake: "Oh shit, that's a lot of stuff happening at once!"

Sorakai: "Well now I can agree with your elf friend. That it's nighttime we might effectively understand what's happening now."

Abigaile: "Should we come up with some sort of strategy?"
